Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled EEG Technician to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and specialized electroencephalography laboratory procedures, including critical care and neonatal electrodiagnostic procedures.
  • Conduct EEG tests and analyze results to diagnose and monitor neurological disorders.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electroencephalography and neurodiagnostics.
Requirements
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent and completion of basic EEG technician training.
  • Two to three years of experience as an EEG Technician, with a focus on critical care and neonatal electrodiagnostic procedures.
  • R.EEG.T. National Board Certification Required, plus one additional board certification (R.EP.T., R.PSG.T., CNIM, or CLTM).
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electroencephalography software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Possession of the skills and knowledge required by the American Board of Registered Electroencephalographic Technologists for certification.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
