The Boston Public Schools is seeking a qualified individual to serve as an After School Food Program Reviewer. This position is responsible for ensuring that the Child and Adult Care Food Program operates in accordance with Federal and State requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site reviews to ensure compliance with program regulations
  • Provide training to staff on accurate documentation and record-keeping
  • Evaluate site staff performance and recommend changes as needed
  • Review site paperwork for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare reports of visits and reviews of foodservice operations
  • Attend required training and ensure proper handling and storage of food

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable automobile
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dependability
  • Resident of the City of Boston

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College Degree
  • Supervisory experience
  • Familiarity with education and recreation programs for children in an urban setting
  • Familiarity with food safety guidelines or food safety certification
