IT Support Specialist Role:

The IT Support Specialist will work closely with technology and business professionals to maintain and support our technology infrastructure, including end-user computers, peripheral equipment, and email accounts. This role requires providing exceptional customer service to staff, residents, family members, and visitors of our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide level technical support to users via on-site, email, phone, and our ticketing system
  • Escalate tickets based on priority using our IT ticketing system
  • Provide technology orientation and basic training to staff and assist the Inspīr IT team with equipment, software, and other IT orders
  • Assist the Inspīr/Maplewood team with on- and off-boarding procedures
  • Work with the Inspīr IT team and our IT vendors to coordinate IT service visits
  • Create and maintain IT documentation regarding known issues and installation guides
  • Provide remote and on-site support for peripherals, such as smart TVs, printers, copiers, and mobile devices
  • Research and test new technology
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Two years' experience in an IT-related role
  • Creative approach to problem-solving and strong analytical skills
  • Experience supporting Windows 7, 8, and 10 operating systems
  • Experience with AD, Office 365, and Google Apps
  • Experience supporting desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones
  • A+ or Network+ or Microsoft certifications
  • Experience and passion in working with seniors preferred
  • Criminal background check required
