Pipeline Designer Professional Job Description

ANR Group Inc is seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Designer Professional to join our team in Richland, WA.

This is a full-time office/project position with no telework offered. The hourly rate range for this position is $34-$74 per hour (plus full benefits) with overtime paid at time and 1/2 for hours worked over 40 in one week.

Client allows for reimbursement of mobilization, daily per diem and M&IE, monthly trips home and demobilization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support planning and scheduling and prepare/maintain design procedures, standards to provide quality design documents as directed.
  • Interface with stress and pipe support engineers, construction, and suppliers during the preparation of piping designs for the purpose of model/space control, etc.
  • Perform reviews of engineering documents.
  • Advanced knowledge of piping codes such as ASME B31.3 or B31.1
  • Performing 3D modeling of piping and equipment in a 3D model environment and preparation of 2D drawings/documents for General Arrangements and piping isometrics drawings.
  • Assist with coordination of 3D model activities, i.e. input, interference reconciliation, etc. with other physical related disciplines.
Requirements:
  • Grade 2- AA/AS/Cert with 8 years of related design experience; or 12 years related design experience
  • Grade 2- AA/AS/Cert with 11 years of related design experience; or 15 years related design experience
  • Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical (if located at the construction site), and background check which includes verification of employment and education.
  • Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site.
  • Must possess the right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on use of Bentley PlantSpace Design Series or other Bentley 3D modeling applications
  • Previous DOD or DOE project experience
