Flagship Publishing is seeking a skilled Photo Coordinator to manage and coordinate all photography needs for our publications.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and coordinate all photography needs for our publications, including scheduling, assigning and tracking photo shoots.
* Collaborate closely with editors, designers and photographers to ensure alignment with editorial vision and brand standards.
* Review, select and organize images for publication, ensuring quality, consistency and adherence to deadlines.
* Maintain and update an organized photo archive and digital asset management system.
* Manage relationships with freelance photographers and negotiate contracts and rates.
* Assist in budgeting and managing costs related to photography.
* Ensure all photos are properly credited and that usage rights are adhered to.
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends and bring fresh ideas to the team.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Communications, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a photo coordination or photo editing role, preferably in a publishing environment.
* Strong knowledge of photography, including composition, lighting, and editing.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom) and other photo management software.
* Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience working in digital asset management systems.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Passion for storytelling through visual media.
