Our unique online schedule exchange system allows you to pick up shifts at jails and detention centers nearest to you, giving you control over your schedule and earning potential. You can choose from 6, 8, or 12-hour shifts, working days, evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays. Whether you want to work part-time or full-time, we offer flexible scheduling options to suit your needs.
As a Correctional Nurse, you will provide quality care on-site, filling open hours within our various correctional medical units. Your duties will include delivering patient care, evaluating symptoms, reactions, and progress, charting results, establishing nursing plans, and working under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s). You will also administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations, follow through with established treatment plans, perform emergency intervention, physical assessment, and critical thinking.
We offer competitive pay rates, starting at approximately $40-$60 per hour, depending on location and experience. Additionally, you can control the timing of your pay when you join our team. Pre-paid hotel accommodations and travel and meal reimbursements are available for those interested in traveling outside their designated home area.
