Gameplay Engineer Role

At Snail Games USA, we're seeking a talented Gameplay Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for developing, troubleshooting, and enhancing major systems using C/C++ and other programming languages within our sizable cross-platform codebase.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-quality gameplay features and systems

Collaborate with artists, designers, and other engineers to bring ideas into reality

Lead the creation of innovative gameplay experiences

Conduct thorough data and code analysis to identify opportunities for enhancement

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a gameplay engineering role

At least one shipped professional title

Proficiency in C/C++ and UE Blueprints

A minimum of 3 years of professional experience with UE4 or UE5

Familiarity with UE's multiplayer functionality

Advanced understanding of algorithms and data structures

Proficient in optimization techniques and debugging

Strong mathematical skills, particularly in linear algebra and 3D vector math

In-depth knowledge of game design principles and game genres
