Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will provide high-quality patient care in a medical surgical environment.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the care of Med/Surg patients. You will also instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, maintain and review patients' records, and administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. You should also have a nursing diploma or ASN, with a BSN preferred. Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred, and you must have current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
