About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of our multifamily apartment buildings. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical condition of our properties is safe and habitable for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repair of multifamily apartment buildings, including occupied units.
  • Supervise maintenance technicians and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
  • Participate in cleaning and painting during unit turns.
  • Snow removal and other seasonal tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with property managers, maintenance teams, and residents.
  • Be on-call for emergency situations and respond accordingly.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of property maintenance experience, preferably in apartment maintenance.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • Supervisory experience in maintenance preferred.
  • Local market experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and evenings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
