IT Technical Specialist

AIG is seeking a skilled IT Technical Specialist to join our team in Application Engineering. This role will provide an opportunity to develop, support, and build engineering knowledge, working on business-critical technology projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with delivery and application teams to align plans and roadmaps.
- Refine and mature internal application decommissioning processes.
- Create and maintain internal documentation, including key metrics and executive reporting.
- Participate in Application Lifecycle assessment reviews, targeting future decommissioning candidates.
- Partner with the business and application teams to ensure adherence to operations standards.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, programming, information technology, engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills with high solutions orientation.
- Excellent English communication skills (written, verbal, and comprehension).
- Resilient, resourceful, displays strong initiative, self-directed, and motivated.
- 2 years of experience in information technology support areas in a financial institution.
- 2 years of experience in project management or equivalent coordination role in a financial institution.
The base salary range for this position in Jersey City, NJ, is $57,500 - $80,500. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
