Job Description

The Nuvalent, Inc. is seeking a skilled Commercial Contracts Attorney to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting the precommercial and commercial legal needs of the company, including drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a broad range of commercial contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently support precommercial and commercial legal needs, including drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial contracts.
  • Actively provide clear legal advice to internal stakeholders across key business functions.
  • Assist in managing public securities legal and compliance-related matters, collaborating with internal stakeholders on SEC filings.
  • Stay current with evolving legal guidance and pharmaceutical, regulatory, and policy initiatives.
  • Drive strong company culture as we grow and evolve.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of legal experience with a publicly traded biotechnology or pharmaceutical company or a law firm advising internal stakeholders or clients on commercial contracting, public company reporting, and compliance matters.
  • Prior commercial experience is required; experience advising a company through its initial commercial launch preferred.
  • Broad, legal counsel experience in an emerging, publicly traded company environment is a plus.
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and member of at least one U.S. state bar required.

Estimated Salary Range:$150,000 - $180,000 per year
