Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Program Director to lead our sales and sector growth efforts. This position is responsible for establishing or improving client relationships with US Geological Survey, NOAA, FEMA, USDA, and state geographic information offices in the western half of the US.

About the Role

This is a business development role that involves building and enhancing existing client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and promoting Woolpert as an industry leader. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of geospatial technical knowledge and be able to speak to clients about aerial and ground data acquisition, lidar, imagery, derivative products, GIS, and geo-enabled information systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance existing client relationships to identify and initiate additional project opportunities
  • Identify and build new client relationships that match the client and project type focus and overall business strategy
  • Promote Woolpert as an industry leader for specified market/practice and service(s) with new and existing clients
  • Assist Project Managers in negotiation of project scope, schedule, fee, and contract terms

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience, or Master's degree and 10 years of experience, or 16 years of experience
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent communication skills
  • Able to research and define multiple project scopes, schedules, and budget
  • Able to establish and maintain rapport with clients, vendors, management, and employees

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Additionally, Woolpert offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
