Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Toxicology Specimen Processor to join our team at Clinical Reference Laboratory. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, and preparing toxicology specimens for laboratory analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process incoming specimens, including toxicology samples, from the dock area.
  • Sort and categorize specimens by type and ensure accurate labeling and documentation.
  • Operate a computer terminal to scan and track specimens, as well as enter data into the system.
  • Prepare specimens for laboratory testing, including aliquoting and barcoding.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the courier coordinator to ensure timely and accurate shipment of specimens.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with laboratory software.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and stand for extended periods.
