Business Development Director

Greenberg Fruit Company is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence in the fresh produce industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a sales strategy to penetrate new retail grocery accounts and expand existing relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and terms that meet volume, pricing, and delivery timing requirements at optimal product margin.
- Collaborate with supply chain and produce development teams to ensure timely development of products and accurate order fulfillment.
- Provide reliable estimates and forecasts of future sales for company projections.
- Solicit, evaluate, and advocate for customer product and feature requests to improve offerings and service.
- Proven track record of identifying, qualifying, and closing prospects in the retail grocery channel.
- Experience developing a portfolio of products for grocery retailers and establishing relationships with senior management, merchandisers, and buyers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and common email systems.
- $45,000 - $55,000 Base Salary with Bonus + Commission Structure
- Car Allowance ($300/month)
