Job Summary
  • The Cardiovascular Technologist prepares equipment and provides patient care during cardiovascular procedures.
  • Maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring high-quality patient care is a top priority.

This role requires specific certifications, including American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) eligibility and/or current RCIS registration. Previous procedural area experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of equipment before and during procedures
  • Patient assessment and preparation
  • Establishment and maintenance of a sterile environment
  • Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
  • Participation in orientation of new staff members
  • Proper use of downtime for tasks such as stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated duties

Qualifications:

A 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with ARRT eligibility and/or current RCIS registration is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) training is necessary, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be achieved within six months of hire.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 annually
