We are a reputable life insurance agency seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a sales agent. As a freelance life insurance professional, you will have the opportunity to work with clients and provide them with personalized life insurance solutions.
About Our AgencyThe Peterson Agency is a well-established agency dedicated to helping families get protected financially with life insurance. We offer health and wealth products, and our main focus is on providing value-based, warm lead systems that allow our agents to sell life insurance without cold calling.
We are contracted with 30+ top-rated insurance carriers, including Mutual of Omaha, Americo, Gerber Life, and many more. This allows us to find the best prices and coverages for our clients, making it easier for you to sell life insurance policies that meet their needs.
Salary and CompensationAs a freelance life insurance professional, you can earn uncapped compensation. The estimated salary range is between $50,000 and $150,000+ per year, depending on your performance and the number of clients you serve.
Part-time agents can earn $50,000+, while full-time agents can earn $125,000+ per year. Agency builders can earn up to $150,000+ per year or more. Your earning potential is directly tied to your hard work and dedication to serving your clients.
Job ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibility will be to purchase exclusive, warm leads from our value-based lead program or source clients through other preferred lead sources. You will then contact those leads to gather information and set up meetings to discuss their life insurance needs.
Once you have met with the client, you will help them apply for their desired life insurance policies. If you choose to build an agency, you will also have the opportunity to find and help other like-minded individuals become successful life insurance agents.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work independently and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve your goals.
You do not need prior experience in life insurance sales, but having a license or certification in life insurance would be beneficial. Discounts and guidance will be provided to assist you in obtaining your license if needed.
