Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular ICU team. As a Heart Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing direct comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
About the Unit:
The Cardiovascular Care Unit at Baptist Health Floyd is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing expert cardiac care. Our team utilizes an innovative model of care called the universal bed concept, allowing us to provide seamless care from pre-operative teaching to open-heart recovery, cardiac ICU care, and discharge teaching.
Required Qualifications:
Current Indiana or compact state RN license
BLS for Healthcare Provider required
ACLS certification (obtained within 12 months of hire)
NIH Stroke Scale Certification required, within 10 weeks of hire
