Description
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry is seeking a medical geneticist to join the Division of Pediatric Genetics. This is a hybrid role, with responsibilities as a Hospitalist in the Department of Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care to hospitalized patients on the Hospital Medicine Service as the attending of record and patients on other services as a consultant.
- Teach medical students and residents in the School of Medicine and Dentistry.
- Contribute to research activities that enhance academic and clinical excellence.

The division collaborates with several allied genetics programs in adult medical genetics, neurogenetics, cancer genetics, and prenatal and reproductive genetics.

Qualifications:
- MD or equivalent degree
- BC/BE in Medical Genetics (Clinical Genetics and/or Clinical Biochemical Genetics)
- Eligible for licensure in the State of New York
