The University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Architecture is seeking an accomplished educator for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in Interior Design at the rank of assistant or associate professor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct undergraduate design studio courses in the 2nd, 3rd, and/or 4th year of the curriculum.
  • Teach at least one core ID curriculum course in areas such as Graphic Representation, Construction Documentation, Material Studies, Professional Practice, or Building Systems (Lighting & Acoustics).
  • Develop an interdisciplinary seminar course in their research area for undergraduate and graduate-level students.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in interior architecture and/or design, with a passion for teaching and contributing to the advancement of the field. A teaching and creative activity/research statement is required as part of the application process.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately $**110,000-$140,000 per year**, depending on qualifications and experience. The University of Nebraska-Lincoln offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
