Job Summary
As a key member of our Overnight Floor Associate team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include stocking, rotating, and storing general merchandise and/or food in the club, ensuring that all merchandise is clearly labeled and fully stocked.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock and rotate general merchandise and/or food in the club, ensuring that all merchandise is clearly labeled and fully stocked.
- Maintain display signage for all products, creating labels and/or applying merchandise sales tags to items, and ensuring all product labels and price tags are clear and visible.
- Handle damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with company policies and procedures.

- Act with honesty and integrity, leading with the member in mind to address all concerns and to escalate any concerns, as appropriate.

Environmental Job Conditions
- Most of the time is spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces, with a need to frequently position oneself to examine and/or scan merchandise, including bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping.
- Continuously requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds, with occasional need to lift and move heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance.
- Usually in a comfortable indoor environment surrounded by moving machinery and/or loud equipment that may require shouting in order to be heard, with occasional exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and/or coolers.
Qualifications
- Previous grocery/stock experience preferred.
- Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
- At least 18 years of age.
Compensation
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJs Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $16.00.
