Job Summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is seeking a skilled Financial Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Financial/Regulatory Reports team, you will be responsible for performing financial and business analyses on reported regulatory data, identifying data anomalies, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with business policies and regulations.

About the Role

This is a full-time, regular position that requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will be responsible for providing financial and business analyses that highlight data issues, presenting contextual information to support the reasonableness of reported data, and recognizing, identifying, and documenting data anomalies, trends, and cause-effect relationships.

Responsibilities

* Provide financial and business analyses that highlight data issues and present contextual information to support the reasonableness of reported data.
* Recognize, identify, and document data anomalies, trends, and cause-effect relationships to ensure compliance with business policies and regulations.
* Communicate with multiple stakeholders about needed corrective actions related to data quality and compliance.
* Build effective working relationships with reporting firms' financial management teams and Board analysts.
* Work with local and national colleagues to support data analyses and regulatory reporting projects.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline or equivalent.
* 4+ years of relevant regulatory reporting or closely related banking industry experience.
* Detailed financial statement analysis.
* Working knowledge of the Call Report and the FR Y-9C.
* Strong critical thinking skills, including assessing information, proposing a solution, and implementing a decision.
* Deliver communications that convey technical topics in simple and concise terms.
* Experience connecting with all levels of an organization.
* Effective time management skills.
