We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Project Engineer to join our team at PCI Tampa operations in Lakeland, FL. This role is a dynamic position offering hands-on experience in project management and estimating, setting the stage for professional growth and career advancement in an innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Create and manage punch lists to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Support the Quality Control Measures outlined in the QA/QC program to ensure high-quality work.
  • Prepare RFI's and submittals to facilitate communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering to ensure accurate estimates.
  • Support the implementation of the job schedule to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Coordinate warranties and O&M's to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing to ensure accurate tracking of project expenses.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Construction Science, or comparable work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job.
  • Customer service skills, including ability to work with customers and build strong relationships.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure and deadline.
  • Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative.
Preferred Requirements
  • OSHA Certification.
  • Willingness to travel/relocate based on project needs.
