Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified School Nurse to join our team in a K-12 public school setting. As a member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in promoting health and safety among students.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for identifying intervention outcomes, following state and local regulations, performing health screenings and assessments, and working one-on-one with students to carry out their care plan.
  • You will also develop plans, including Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and Emergency Care Plans (ECPs), to support student health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Foster a healthy and safe learning environment by providing individualized healthcare services to students.
  2. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive student care.
  3. Develop and implement effective health interventions to address student needs.
  4. Maintain accurate records of student health information and communicate with parents/guardians as necessary.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where the position is located.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working as a school nurse or in a similar healthcare setting.
