We are seeking a skilled Perinatal Nurse Care Specialist to join our team in Oregon City, Oregon. This is a 13-week contract position, working 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts.

Job Overview

This Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing top-notch care to expectant mothers and their newborns. As a Perinatal Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring vital signs, educating patients, and supporting families throughout the birthing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring the physical and emotional needs of mothers and babies are met
  • Monitor vital signs and identify potential high-risk complications during labor and delivery
  • Educate patients and families on postpartum care and support
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have an active RN license, at least 18 months of experience in Acute Care Labor and Delivery settings, and hold relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS AWHONN.
