Clinical Pharmacist Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at MaineHealth. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing patient-centered care and contributing to the development of our pharmacy services.
Responsibilities:
* Review and formulate recommendations on drug therapy based on current literature and established standards of practice
* Directly supervise supportive personnel and serve as a resource for drug information
* Participate in the preparation and distribution of medications
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
* Develop and maintain knowledge of medications, including their indications, contraindications, and potential interactions
Requirements:
* Graduate of an ACCP accredited school/college of pharmacy
* Eligible or currently licensed in the State of Maine
* Work experience as a patient care pharmacist involved in patient monitoring and drug therapy review is preferred
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Analytical skills necessary to identify and resolve problems related to drug therapy
