As a Strategic Account Manager, you'll play a critical role in driving growth and revenue objectives by selling our Flexera One platform to a list of 12-15 strategic accounts in a given region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prospecting across a broad range of accounts to uncover new business opportunities and cultivate a robust pipeline
  • Establishing trust and credibility with prospective clients by demonstrating a deep understanding of their business challenges
  • Conducting comprehensive needs assessments to identify pain points, challenges, and objectives
  • Articulating Flexera's solutions to precisely address the unique needs of each potential client
  • Fostering and maintaining robust relationships with key stakeholders within target accounts
  • Collaborating with the Pre-sales team to develop and deliver impactful presentations and product demonstrations
  • Working with Channel & Alliance representatives on joint opportunities to align efforts and strategies
  • Accurately forecasting opportunities and delivering against that forecast
  • Addressing customer objections and concerns effectively
  • Navigating and overcoming barriers related to migration, cost, security, and performance
  • Successfully negotiating to achieve favorable pricing and contractual agreements

Requirements include:

  • 6+ years of experience in selling software solutions, particularly in cloud, cloud cost, cloud management, ITSM, ITAM/SAM, data, security, risk management software, and application resource management
  • Experience utilizing a defined sales methodology, such as MEDDPICC or MEDDIC
  • Success in finding and uncovering opportunities with net new and existing accounts
  • Full ownership of the end-to-end sales process
  • Strong reputation for exceeding sales quota
