About the RoleThis full-time, salaried position offers an outpatient only practice setting, where you will expect to see up to 18 patients per day. With a salary of $200,000 for the first six months, followed by WRVU-based compensation, you will have the opportunity to grow your earnings over time. A sign-on bonus is also available, paid out in two installments: half upon signing the contract and half upon starting employment.
About the PracticeAs one of only two internists on staff, you will enjoy a low-call requirement and a manageable workweek of 4.5 days, plus 0.5 administrative days. Office hours run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing a healthy work-life balance.
Benefits- 25 days of earned time (8 hours each) per year, usable for vacation, holidays, or sick leave, including six major holidays observed
- Affordable medical and dental benefits, with a very low deductible of $500 minimum
- Paid licensing and DEA fees through the Board of Medicine in Maine
- Five days of continuing medical education per year, plus a yearly allowance for expenses associated with CME
- Yearly allowance for professional dues and subscriptions
- A voluntary, tax-free Tax Sheltered Annuity Plan available through payroll deductions
