Job Summary

Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. is seeking a skilled Medical Care Specialist to provide primary care and medical management of offenders in a correctional facility in Tabor City, NC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough physical assessments, including medical history, vital signs, and symptom evaluation.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare team members.
  • Administer treatments, medications, and procedures as needed.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Provide guidance and education to patients and their families regarding their condition, treatment plans, and aftercare.
  • Participate in managing emergency situations, including code blue responses and life-saving interventions.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in NC
  • Current AHA BLS Card
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
