Workforce Specialist II

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Workforce Specialist II to join our team at the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our residential facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that staff implement active treatment plans for consumers in assigned areas.
- Provide supervision to Workforce Specialists I in the Day Support Area and DSPs when assisting consumers in the Day Support areas.
- Monitor documentation to ensure completion and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring accountability needs are met based on accountability plans for each consumer.
- Ensure compliance with regulations for DDSN, DHEC, and DOL.
- Attend ISP meetings and business meetings as scheduled.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements- High school diploma and at least four years of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of fact-gathering methods, interviewing techniques, community resources, and modern casework and counseling techniques.
