Travel Nurse Across America is seeking a travel nurse for a Med Surg job in Saratoga Springs, New York.
About the JobWe are looking for Medical Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) for an immediate travel nursing assignment in Saratoga Springs, NY. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and be able to provide bedside care for a variety of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on patients' immediate conditions or needs.
- Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
- Prepares equipment and aids physician during examination and treatment of patient.
- Educates patients on surgical procedures.
- Participates in discharge planning and initiates patient education plan as prescribed by physician.
This MedSurg travel nurse position requires standing and walking for long periods, bending, leaning, and stooping without difficulty. Lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week. This amount is subject to confirmation and tax-free stipend details will be determined separately.
