RN PreOp PACU Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled RN PreOp PACU to join our team at Surgery Care Affiliates. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the preoperative and postoperative phases of surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient's preoperative and postoperative status to identify potential risks and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement evidence-based practices to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between phases of care.
- Provide education to patients and their families on postoperative care and recovery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current state licensure to practice as a registered nurse.
- One year of experience in preoperative or postoperative care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Working Conditions
