About the Role:

The Membership Sales Development Manager role at Walmart is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a sales professional to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for driving membership sales in assigned clubs by communicating goals, results, and feedback to associates. You will also ensure signage is updated, all marketing collateral and signage related to membership programs are up-to-date, and complete and maintain required documentation and forms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales: Drive membership sales in assigned clubs by selling memberships in the field and in the club using various techniques such as cold calling, outside appointments, and membership drives.
  • Training: Teach associates to process and sell memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts. Ensure training plans and materials are efficient and provide on-the-job training in the work area and sales floor.
  • Communication: Communicate relevant information on membership events, both inside and outside of the club. Encourage membership renewals and respond to membership questions and concerns.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate exemplary actions and workload execution by modeling and training processes to associates. Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring and training, mentoring, assigning duties, and ensuring diversity awareness.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field; or 4 years' experience in sales, retail, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year's sales experience in business-to-business sales.
  • Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent customer service skills.

Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $44,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
