About the Role

First Horizon Bank is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team as a Collections Specialist. This role is responsible for overseeing the recovery of charged-off accounts, ensuring that customers are contacted in a professional and respectful manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Make outbound calls and receive inbound calls on charged-off accounts
  • Evaluate customer situations and make appropriate business decisions
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements with customers
  • Maintain accurate records and update customer information
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in collections or a related field
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
