Mental Health Worker - Residence Per Diem

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Worker to join our team at Care Plus NJ. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive written intake assessments, including treatment plans and measurable goals.
  • Perform ongoing assessments of consumers, taking into account their age, developmental level, and diagnosis.
  • Assist consumers in achieving their goals by working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Complete clinically based assessments at the end of each shift to ensure seamless communication with the next shift or the following day.
  • Help acquire transportation and safely transport consumers daily.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field from an accredited college or university.
  • At least one year of verifiable related work or life experience.
  • Experience in mental health, residential, or partial care services is highly desirable.
  • A valid driver's license and insurability under our agency's automobile insurance policy.
