The Role & Team

We're seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales engineering team, you'll work closely with enterprise prospects and customers to leverage our platform for better product experiences. Your expertise will inspire prospects to see a brighter future, leveraging our unified platform.

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, your input and opinions are highly valued. You'll have the opportunity to influence product direction, collaborate with corporate and field marketing, and make a significant impact on our business.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver world-class demos, run pointed discovery sessions, and own proofs of value for Amplitude's solution.
  • Couple your product, data, and analytics expertise to align Amplitude's solution with enterprise customer pains.
  • Lead conversations with technical teams on topics such as data import, data quality, data governance, and reference architecture.
  • Work closely with account executives, product development, engineering, and customer success to ensure a seamless buying experience.
  • Advise prospects on their data strategy and growth stack architecture for efficient and high-quality results.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of enterprise software experience, including at least 3 years of pre-sales or solution engineering experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%.
  • Clear understanding of the modern growth stack, including data, messaging, A/B testing, and analytics.
  • Technical experience in tools using SDKs and APIs.
  • Appetite for learning about product development, digital marketing, behavioral analytics, and data science.
About the Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
