We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to support one of our partner schools in Washington, D.C.
The selected candidate will provide exceptional care to students with diverse physical and cognitive needs.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time opportunity for a Physical Therapist (PT) to create and implement effective therapy plans in an educational setting.
The ideal candidate will possess the skills to assess students' needs, develop individualized therapy plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:- Assessments and Therapy Plans: Conduct thorough assessments to determine students' needs and develop personalized therapy plans.
- Direct Services: Provide direct physical therapy services and interventions to students, ensuring holistic care.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Clinical Doctoral Degree: Possess a Clinical Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
- Licensure: Hold a valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Washington, D.C.
- Experience: Preference given to candidates with experience working with children with special needs and in educational settings.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including FREE 100% United Health Care health insurance premiums, generous PTO, continuing education opportunities, and more.
