Radiology Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Ambulatory Surgery Center. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging examinations and radiation therapy treatments using fluoroscopy equipment.
  • Assist consulting radiologists, administrators, and clinical directors in maintaining compliance with radiology program standards.
  • Organize time, equipment, and supplies effectively to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Provide comfort and reassurance to patients, promoting privacy and dignity.
  • Confirm proper radiology techniques and procedures are used according to accepted standards of practice.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology technologist program.
  • Certified as a radiology technician (AART).
  • CPR certification.
  • Operating room or pain procedure experience.
  • ASC experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two years' experience in a healthcare setting performing fluoroscopy procedures.
