Dedicated Patient Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented patient caregiver to join our team at Compunnel. This role requires providing exceptional care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Job SummaryThis position involves working closely with nurses and physicians to assist with patient needs, monitor health conditions, and maintain high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
- Assistance: Respond to patient calls and determine the best way to assist them.
- Daily Activities: Provide physical support with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and personal hygiene.
- Bedridden Patients: Assist bedridden patients by turning and repositioning them regularly.
- Diets: Ensure patients receive the correct diet by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.
- Reporting: Gather and report information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses regarding patient conditions, treatment plans, and activities.
- Vital Signs: Measure and record patient intake/output and communicate changes to nursing staff.
- Record Keeping: Record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, as requested.
- Medical Concerns: Identify and report any medical concerns, such as wounds, bruises, or signs of infection.
- Meds Reminders: Remind patients to take prescribed medications and nutritional supplements.
- Patient Behavior: Observe and report any changes in patient behavior or symptoms to nursing staff.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience: Previous experience as a CNA is preferred.
- Certification: Active CNA certification in your state.
- Skills;
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical Support: Ability to provide physical and emotional support to patients.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail in recording and reporting patient information.
- Healthcare Procedures: Ability to follow healthcare procedures and protocols.
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
