Medical Pathologist

Job Summary:
PathGroup is seeking a highly skilled Medical Pathologist to lead our molecular oncology team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical service workload distribution for our molecular pathology and oncology services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sign out of molecular oncology and cancer genomics assays, including NGS, FISH, and other assays as deemed appropriate.
- Sign out of CDX IHC assays related to the practice of Precision Oncology.
- Assist medical leadership in medical strategy of molecular pathology services in collaboration with other operational, medical, scientific, and commercial leadership.
- Assist with managing the clinical service workload distribution for Airpark molecular pathology and oncology services.
- Assist with enterprise client interactions and consultations related to Airpark molecular pathology and oncology services.
- Assist with questions and consultations from the Airpark laboratory operations team.
- Assist with enterprise physician education and technical updates related to Precision Oncology.
- Assist with clinical pathology service efforts (peripheral smear review, electrophoresis) as needed.
Requirements:
- Board Certification in anatomic and clinical pathology with subspecialty certification in molecular genetic pathology.
- Must hold a valid Tennessee Laboratory Directors License or State eligible.
- 2 to 5 years of medical leadership experience.
- Must have proven track record in physician, employee and client relationships and in operational and financial performances.
