About the RoleAs a Logistics Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with procedures and regular safety checks of your equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.) to guarantee safety. You will complete daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records. Your duties will be scheduled by your Route Manager or Dispatch, requiring flexibility to adapt to changing routes and working schedules.
Requirements- A valid CDL-Class A license with at least one year of proven safe driving experience.
- Preferred direct store delivery experience (DSD).
- You must successfully pass our drug test, MVR, and background check.
- Familiarity with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.
- Proficiency in using a smart phone and electronic logging device (ELD) for logging positions and driving times.
