About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Coordinator - MAT Program to join our team at Wellpath. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing leadership, vision, and oversight to the provision of medication-assisted treatment services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and supervise MAT services for patients in assigned facilities, fostering collaboration among medical, nursing, mental health, psychiatry, and security teams.
  • Assist in program design and expansion of MAT services, including staffing and program development, in coordination with the Regional Office.
  • Provide clinical supervision, professional education, and staff development for on-site service providers.
  • Direct clinical services according to licensure and scope of practice standards.
  • Represent the corporation's interests, ensure cooperation with facility administration, and oversee training provided by healthcare staff to other facility personnel.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum of Independent Licensure with a Masters Degree in clinical/counseling psychology or social work from an accredited college or university or be a graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing with a current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which employed.
  • Other substance abuse certification would be desirable though not required.
  • Experience in the coordination and administration of behavioral health or medical service delivery systems as well as knowledge and/or interest in the provision of integrated behavioral health/medical programming within a multidisciplinary framework.
  • Professional experience in the behavioral health or medical field that indicates knowledge of management and supervision techniques, peer review, data collection and quality assurance.
  • Experience successfully navigating a correctional healthcare setting in which there are multiple stakeholders and needs to consider while maintaining the patients needs as the primary focus.
