Strategic Data-Driven IT Leader

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Data-Driven IT Leader to join our team at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making, process optimization, and performance improvement within Information Services departments.
This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret complex data, and translate findings into actionable solutions for senior leadership teams.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to IT strategy.
- Design and implement predictive models to forecast future trends, anticipate challenges, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within Information Services.
- Leverage data-driven insights to guide strategic planning, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
- Create visually compelling dashboards and reports to effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders, including senior management and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and provide data-driven solutions, clearly communicating findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Enhance and expand our department's monthly business review by creating dashboards, providing guidance on key performance indicators (KPIs) tracking metrics, and delivering regular updates to executive leadership teams.
- Utilize strong business acumen and knowledge of IT operating models to recommend allocation and distribution of resources, maximizing operational efficiency, optimizing service delivery, and enhancing customer experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, business, economics, or finance, with a focus on data analysis and interpretation.
- Master's degree (such as MBA) preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in a client-facing environment interacting with senior and executive leadership at the department and organization level.
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis, machine learning, data modeling, and data visualization.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and financial modeling software.
Benefits:
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, we are including an estimated salary range for this role: $104,000 - $186,160 per year.
