Recovery Housing Coordinator Role

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Solutions (LBHS) is dedicated to providing a comprehensive approach to addiction treatment, focusing on creating a welcoming and compassionate environment for individuals struggling with substance use and mental health issues.

This role requires an experienced professional to coordinate housing services, ensuring the effective placement of residents in our recovery housing programs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of addiction recovery principles and be able to create a supportive and therapeutic environment for residents.

The Recovery Housing Coordinator will report directly to the Recovery Housing Program Supervisor and work collaboratively with clinical and support staff to address residents' needs and facilitate their overall recovery journey.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the house remains free from prohibited items, respond to incidents, and complete necessary reports as the primary point of contact for residents.
  • Monitor resident progress, identify potential warning signs, and refer residents for additional support as needed.
  • Provide orientation to new residents, conduct daily check-ins, and organize resident moves between recovery homes.
  • Maintain accurate records of housing documents, including updated Resident Agreements and end-of-day reports.
  • Present accountability reports and behavioral contracts to residents as needed, ensure residents adhere to program rules and expectations.
Clinical Duties:
  • Support residents to gain access to medical, social, educational, vocational, recreational, and criminal justice services.
  • Help residents obtain financial assistance, job assistance, housing assistance, food, and clothing, facilitate linkages to community resources and support.
  • Assist residents increase their social support networks, advocate for residents' needs, and provide crisis intervention during emergencies, including relapse.
Required Experience/Certifications:
  • At least two years of experience in programs related to substance abuse recovery or supportive housing.
  • CDCA certification, valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Must pass BCI check, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug screen, age 25 years or older.
Compensation and Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $22.00 - $28.00 per hour, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) plan, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), education reimbursement program, and paid parental leave. Lighthouse is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
