About the Role

As a dedicated Therapeutic Specialist, you will provide comprehensive speech and language services to middle and elementary school students. With a strong background in testing, evaluations, and procedures, you will be responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of middle and elementary school students, prioritizing their academic support needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas requiring attention, then develop tailored treatment plans to address these needs.
  • Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal meetings to ensure collaborative planning and student success.
  • Cultivate effective relationships with educational staff to foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to optimize outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathology license.
  • A strong foundation in testing, evaluations, and ARD procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
