Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year

Job Title: Primary Caregiver (Early Childhood Education)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Primary Caregiver to join our team at MercyOne Eastern Iowa. As a member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our youngest patients.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing individualized care to each child, responding to their unique needs and preferences
  • Creating engaging activities and programs that promote socialization, learning, and fun among children
  • Working collaboratively with parents and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Maintaining accurate records of daily activities, meals, and medication administration

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education degree preferred
  • At least two years of experience working with children, preferably in a childcare or educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations; willingness to maintain a clean and safe environment
