Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver - Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing support and assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
  • Support individuals with behavioral challenges, including autism and related conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and growth
  • Collaborate with the Sevita team to ensure high-quality care and services
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
