Job Summary

We are seeking a self-motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in refrigerated or flatbed truckload operations and excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities include planning available trucks to available freight, improving utilization, and identifying opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and growth potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan available trucks to available freight, focusing on optimizing capacity and improving fleet and company revenue goals.
  • Improve utilization by coordinating with Sales, Account Managers, and Logistics on load balances, customer/lane opportunities, and Driver needs.
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and growth potential with new and existing shippers.
  • Manage trailer pool balances at all customer facilities and drop yards.
  • Assist with swaps/repowers to improve operations and meet customer requirements and expectations.
  • Proactively work through exceptions and operational issues with customers, Drivers, and internal colleagues in an equitable manner.
Requirements
  • Two years minimum experience in a directly related position.
  • Capability to calculate time zones, understand DOT HOS regulations, and comprehend military time.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • A background in MS Office.
