Job Overview

The Healthcare Program Coordinator II role at EVERSANA is centered around delivering exceptional support to patients and healthcare professionals regarding benefit coverage, payment processes, reimbursements, denials, and general inquiries through our dedicated patient services support center.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored assistance via telephone and online platforms.
  • Guide patients through insurance benefits, coverage details, and personal expenses.
  • Work collaboratively with patients and healthcare providers on payment concerns, reimbursement issues, denials, and appeals.
  • Manage prior authorization requests, medical necessity evaluations, and benefit confirmations.
  • Explore alternative reimbursement options and enrollment support programs.
  • Address inquiries from clients, sales teams, and business associates with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Process orders, monitor shipments, and handle customer transactions efficiently.
  • Oversee patient assistance applications in accordance with program guidelines.

Job Expectations:

  • Facilitate benefit verifications and prior authorization processes.
  • Serve as the main liaison for healthcare providers to collect patient enrollment and insurance information.
  • Adhere to company and client policies and protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with 4 years of experience or an Associate's Degree with 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Outstanding communication abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and work autonomously.
  • Detail-oriented with a constructive attitude.
  • Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Prior experience in customer service or call center operations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with patient assistance programs and medical billing is advantageous.
