About the Role:

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Multi-modality Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures in two or more disciplines, with a 50% focus in an advanced discipline such as CT, MR, Nuc Med or IR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality imaging procedures, following established protocols and guidelines
  • Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures, adhering to established standards and procedures
  • Utilize effective communication skills to interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Prepare patients and areas for procedures, positioning patients, adjusting immobilization devices, and moving equipment into specified positions
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, drug and radiation policies, protocols, and techniques

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Imaging or a related field
  • Less than 1 year of experience in Diagnostic Medical Imaging or a related field
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) licensure in the state of Texas
  • Registration in two imaging modalities and works 50% of the time in the second modality, approved modalities include ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, ARRT-CV, ARRT-M, ARRT-MR, ARRT-N, ARRT-S, ARRT-VI, ARRT-BS, ARRT-BD, ARRT-CI, RDMS-AB, RDMS-BR, RDMS-FE, RDMS-OB, RDMS-PS, RVT, CNMT, or ARMRIT
