Forrest General Hospital seeks a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Pine Grove National Service Center. In this critical role, you will provide high-quality patient care, conduct clinical assessments, and make referrals as needed.

About the Role

The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Business Development and will be responsible for answering inquiry calls, gathering clinical information, and arranging services and referrals. Additionally, you will conduct clinical assessments for all Pine Grove programs, both in-person and via telehealth, and document clinical information in the electronic medical record.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical Assessments: Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for all Pine Grove programs to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Referrals and Arrangements: Make referrals to appropriate services and arrange for necessary interventions to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Patient Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and visitors, demonstrating empathy and cultural sensitivity.
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Document clinical information accurately and efficiently in the EMR system.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in clinical nursing, preferably in behavioral health care.
  • An Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited non-online university, or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of MS, with certification upon hire.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and handle high-pressure situations.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits that include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
